Remont Vody "# 8 odd" 2004


The band «Remont Vody» started its existence in the early 90s and it’s been amateur project for quite a long time. In 2001 the band’s line-up finally took permament shape, the musicians made the decision abou the name for the band and the triumph crusade to the top of the Olympus began. The stylistic range of this band is really broad – from ethnic music to post-punk.

This album is slightly different from the previous one… the album is called “preceding” itself though and the paradox is that there is no paradox at all, as there are no tiredness and the trying of being fresh. The guests are – intentional showing off accusation and the fish opens the door to it. From the band’s point of view everything’s in its right place. The songs find their cells by themselves, the main thing is not to make any obstacles for it.

The album “Kolysanki” (Lullabies) is out of time and fashion. This is truly Ukrainian product created for bringing up the children and to pass to the younger generation the legacy of motherland culture. On the other hand, this is just a nice and pleasant music performed by perfect singer Rosava. The majority of the compositions is the contemporary adaptation of authentic Ukrainian lullabies, which were picked up by the singer from different sources. The arrangements are made in chamber and natural way.

Gift re-issue of ROSAVA's popular album "Kolysanky" has just been released. Besides the main contents the album highlights one new track - "Kolyadka". Also this gift pack comprises 4 songs in karaoke. For this purpose the relative lyrics were printed in the booklet.
